KATHMANDU, JUL 15 - Three Nepali peacekeepers serving with the United Nations mission in conflict-torn Democratic Republic of Congo have been wounded when they were caught in an ambush.
According to Nepal Army (NA) Directorate of Public Relations, the NA soldier s were deployed at Bao in the northern part of the Mavivi-based station of security personnel.
They were ambush ed by Allied Democratic Front, a rebel group opposed to the Ugandan government and based in western Uganda with bases in Congo, NA said.
